THE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA (INC.)

Can MS be funny? “It’d better be!” says comedian Tim Ferguson.
Tim has battled multiple sclerosis for much of his adult life. Speaking about it publicly for the first time in 2010, he said, 'It's not for wimps.' and 'You can laugh, or you can cry. Laughing takes fewer tissues.' Armed with a big walking stick, this master comedian is fierce, fearless and funny.
Tim warns audiences to “Be mildly nervous. Be very mildly nervous.”
One of Australia’s best-loved international comedians, Tim delivers an evening of stories from a life on the comedy warpath, battling multiple sclerosis along the way.
After a sell-out season at this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival, Tim is heading to Perth’s Wild West Comedy Festival.
Tim speaks about his adventures with wicked wit and admirable honesty - from touring the world as a Doug Anthony Allstar to his life as an international TV network celebrity.
In his inspiring show “CARRY A BIG STICK” Tim will deliver his trademark sharp insights on the human condition - and his own condition.
Armed with a big walking stick, this master comedian is fierce, fearless and funny.
Tim said, “I love the bearpit of standup comedy. In my case it’s standup then sitdown comedy. Yes, it’s that edgy.”
