MSWA

The MS Society of WA is an independent, state-based organisation supporting people with multiple sclerosis (MS)

MSWA supports people with MS, their families and carers through the supply of professional health care services.

In addition, the Society plays a vital role in educating the community about the disease, liaising with government and other bodies on MS-related issues and advocating for the rights of all people with MS.

The Society currently operates from locations in Wilson, Beechboro, Rockingham, City Beach, Bunbury and Albany.

The Society also manages its own fundraising program from its office in Wilson. Funds raised through these initiatives, as well as government grants, and other income generating programs, fund the supply of services to Members and contribute towards research to find a cure.

Eight of the fourteen positions on the Society’s Board of Management are elected from the Society’s membership.

Our Vision:

  • A quality of life for people living with multiple sclerosis which is not compromised by their diagnosis
  • A cure for multiple sclerosis
