For $20 a year you become a financial Member of the Society you can access ongoing information, support and services from our health team and other membership benefits.
By registering with us you will receive the Bulletin magazine, updates on research and information on seminars and forums. If you do need to access our staff they then have relevant information readily available on the database.
Your $20 helps cover the costs for producing our Bulletin magazine.
We have a Members database, which is accessible to our Member Services health professionals and admin staff. Staff are bound by confidentiality. Statistics provided to our funding bodies, for example the Health Department, do not identify individuals. Electronic or mailed out communications are managed by Member Services staff.
We recognise the importance of your family as a vital support for you. They are welcome to attend our seminars, access counseling and attend appointments with you.
Carers can access support groups and camps and are encouraged to participate in the assessment and care planning processes.
The Society has negotiated some excellent benefits through a number of reputable companies and service suppliers; these are available to our Members.
